Worrall arrived in Australia in 1913 from Britain and the following year enlisted for service in World War 1 in the AIF with whom he served in the Gallipoli campaign with the 8th Battalion He moved to Canberra in 1923 and was associated with the brickworks in Yarralumla for many years. Worrall died on 24 September 1969 and was buried in the ex-services portion of Woden Cemetery.
