Notes
Winter was originally from 'Red Hill' (now 'Gungaderra') in Gungahlin. He married Margaret Bragg in 1922 and they had two children. According to his obituary he was born in Canberra and later owned a small property south of Tharwa and worked at the Cuppacumbalong Hereford Stud. He was cremated at Norwood Park.
