Notes

Willis served on HMAS Brisbane in the Vietnam theatre from 20 March 1969 to 13 October 1969. He also served at HMAS Harman during the 1960s. He was appointed as an Honorary Aide de Camp to the Governor General in 1969 for a three year period. Willis ended his career as Chief of Naval Personnel with the rank of Rear Admiral. He died in Surfers Paradise, Queensland on 28 November 1997.
