Notes
Wallis was a twin whose family arrived in Canberra in 1926 when his father found work on the construction of old Parliament house. The family originally lived at the Causeway but Wallis, his twin brother and their mother left when the boys were babies because of a shortage of suitable accommodation. Wallis served in Korea with 1RAR from 9 April 1952 until 24 March 1953.
