Notes
Squadron Leader Tye was Officer in Charge of the Communications Centre at Vung Tau airfield as well as RAAF Welfare Officer. He served in Vietnam from 14 June 1966 until 1 June 1967. The Canberra Times reported in 1966 that Tye, as RAAF Welfare Officer, had received around 300 gift parcels at Vung Tau.
