Notes

Temme lived in Canberra for three months from September 1941 to December 1941 when he returned to Adelaide to enlist. He initially lived at the Acton Guest House (previously the Bachelor Quarters) before moving to a private boarding house in Braddon. He returned to Canberra after the war, studied law at the Canberra University College and later lived in O'Connor and then Farrer. He became Registrar of Motor Vehicles in 1954 as well as Chairman of the ACT Road Safety Council. In the 1960s he became the principal legal officer in the Department of Defence.
