Notes
Bagnall was a veteran of World War 1 and arrived in Canberra in 1933 to work in the Patents Office. He served with the VDC from 1942 to 1945 rising to the rank of Major. Bagnall continued to work in the Patents Office and at the time of his retirement in 1957 he was Chief Examiner. He died in Canberra on 10 July 1961.
