Notes
Dick Waller was a Captain with the Royal Engineers when he was appointed as Instructor in Military Engineering at the Royal Military College, Duntroon in January 1911. He was secretary of the college's sports committee during its first few years and married a local woman, Clara Crace from Gungahleen, on 24 April 1912 at St. John's Church in Reid. He left RMC for England in August 1914 when the war began and rose to the rank of Brigadier General. Waller died at Sherborne in France in March 1961.
