Notes
George Sinclair was a 34 year old farrier working at the Royal Military College, Duntroon when he enlisted in July 1915 at Liverpool. He embarked for overseas in November 1915 with the 14th Battery of the 5th Field Artillery Brigade and was appointed to the rank of Farrier Sergeant in January 1916. He arrived in France in March 1916 and despite spells in hospital being treated for bursitis, gout and bronchitis he did not return to Australia until April 1919 and was discharged in Sydney on 2 June 1919.
