Notes
Keith Kilby was born at Hall and enlisted with his brother Athol on 12 June 1918 in Sydney. He left Australia on October 1918 reaching Suez, Egypt in mid November and was allotted to the 12th Light Horse Regiment. He returned to Australia in August 1919 and was discharged on 13 September 1919. He and his brother Athol were also business partners and acquired several soldier settler leases in the Belconnen and Hall districts after the war. He married in 1928 and farmed at 'Lochleigh' near Hall before retiring to Canberra where he died in March 1976. Kilby also served in World War 2.
