Notes

Kelly was the school teacher at Gibraltar near Tidbinbilla from 1916 until he enlisted in May 1918. He arrived in Egypt in December 1918 and served with the 12th Light Horse Regiment. In June 1919 he became an acting Sergeant while employed as an Educational Instructor. He returned to Australia in August 1919 and was discharged on 13 September 1919.
