Notes
After completing his Leaving Certificate at Canberra High School, Wadie was selected to enter the Royal Military College, Duntroon to train as an army officer. He served in Vietnam with the 17th Construction Squadron from 14 May 1967 to 21 May 1968. Wadie rose to the rank of lieutenant colonel, and was living in Aranda with his family, when he died in a traffic accident on 23 August 1978 at Milperra near Sydney. He was cremated at Norwood Park.
