Notes

Ulanowicz was a national serviceman who attend the Officer Training Unit at Scheyville, west of Sydney in 1969 and was appointed as a 2nd Lieutenant. He served in Vietnam from 15 February 1971 until 16 September 1971 with 3RAR and commanded 12 Platoon, D Company when they first made contact with the enemy on 1 March 1971 north east of Nui Dat. He was the NSW Royal Life Saving Society state beach sprint champion in 1967-68.
