Notes
Yeo served in the 8th Division with the Army Service Corps and became a prisoner of war when the Japanese captured Singapore on 15 February 1942. He was released in August 1945 and returned to Canberra. After the war he went to evening school at Canberra High to gain his Intermediate Certificate and became secretary of the Eastlake Football Club. He also organised a remembrance service at the War Memorial to mark the anniversary of the fall of Singapore.
