Peter Zuccato was a National Serviceman who arrived in Vietnam with 1 Australian Reinforcement Unit on 22 July 1967 before joining A Squadron, 3 Cavalry Regiment on 12 November 1967. His squadron used Armoured Personnel Carriers (APCs) and was involved in the defence of allied bases in the border area of Bien Hoa and Long Khanh Provinces in early 1968. His tour ended on 23 April 1968.
