Notes
Errol Yelland's family had arrived in Canberra by 1928. He worked for the English, Scottish & Australian Bank and married Ilona St. John in Sydney in 1941. He was mobilised in June 1941 and joined the AIF on 14 August 1942. Yelland served at Adelaide River in the Northern Territory during 1944 and at Wewak in New Guinea in 1945. He died in Sydney on 10 September 2003 aged 92 years.
