Notes

Wurm served in Vietnam from 31 December 1968 to 23 December 1969 as a Movement Control Officer with the RAAF. He was based in Saigon and was responsible for arranging and co-ordinating air travel within Vietnam and to Australia for defence personnel. For his work in this role he was awarded the OBE in 1970. Wurm lived in Canberra after his service in Vietnam. He died on 7 October 2011.
