Notes
Murray Adams and his family moved to Canberra before the war because his father was a Parliamentary Reporter. He was farewelled at the Hotel Civic in October 1940 along with five other gunners and served with the 12th Battery, 2/6th Field Regiment in Palestine, Syria and Lebanon during 1941 before moving to New Guinea in 1943. By 1967 Adams was living in Braddon and still with the public service. He died on 10 May 1991 and was cremated at Norwood Park.
