2/13 Australian Composite Anti Aircraft Regiment

Notes

After enlisting in 1940 Adams trained as a signaller and was posted to the 2/13 Field Regiment. He served in Darwin for four months in 1941 and embarked for the Middle East in September that year. Adams returned to Australia in March 1942 and was posted to the 2/14 Heavy Anti Aircraft Battery at Lytton in Brisbane. In November 1943 he arrived in Buna, on the north coast of Papua, where he served for the next six months.

Description - height 6 feet 3 inches, blue eyes, fair hair, fair complexion, scar on his left cheek.
