Notes
Richardson entered the Royal Military College, Duntroon in February 1915 and graduated at the end of 1917 when he was commissioned as a Lieutenant in a Special Draft of RMC graduates. He served in Egypt and Palestine from May 1918 until the end of the war when he was assistant Adjutant to the 8th Light Horse Regiment. Richardson was based at Duntroon when World War 2 began and served in New Guinea.
