Notes
Harry Parry worked at the Royal Military College, Duntroon from April 1914 until called-up for service in August 1914. He was an Imperial Reservist and embarked for Britain on 17 October 1914. He served in 'U' Battery which was attached to the 8th (Lucknow) Cavalry Brigade of the 1st Indian Calvary Division in the Royal Horse Artillery. It served on the Western Front mostly as a reserve unit, although U Battery was involved in the Battle of Cambrai in France in November 1917. Parry died on 14 November 1918 and was buried in grave VIII.A.35 at Busigny Communal Cemetery Extension, to the north east of St. Quentin in France.
