Notes

Flora Gallagher was born at the family property at Browns Flat near Burbong on 18 December 1874. She trained as a nurse and enlisted on 19 October 1915 in Sydney. She served with the 14th General Hospital in Rouen and the 25th General Hospital before returning to Australia and being discharged on 14 March 1919. Flora Gallagher married Frederick Young in 1920 and died on 20 January 1938. She was the sister of Evelyn Gallagher and aunt of Janet Gallagher.
