Stan Blewitt came from Royalla and enlisted at Queanbeyan after a medical examination held at the Molonglo Concentration Camp. It was his second attempt to enlist after being rejected because of an injured right leg. Once again though, a Medical Board hearing at Victoria Barracks in Sydney on 14 August declared Blewitt unfit for active service because of his injured right thigh and his enlistment was cancelled.

He was the brother of Aubrey Blewitt and married Johanna Kelleher in Queanbeyan in 1922. He served with the Volunteer Defence Corps in World War 2. Stan Blewitt died at Bulli in 1971.

Description - height 5 feet 9 inches, weight 160 pounds, chest 34-40½ inches, fair complexion, blue eyes, dark hair, Catholic.
