Notes
Capsticks worked at the Royal Military College, Duntroon from 1913 until 1931 when the college moved to Sydney. He married Eva Warwick in 1919 and they later lived in Braddon and Reid.
Capsticks was an Imperial Reservist and was called up upon the outbreak of the war to serve with the British Army. He embarked from Sydney on the 'Miltiades' on 17 October 1914. He also enlisted for service in World War 2 and served as a Private with the HQ Second Australian Army AIF. He died of illness at Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney on 12 February 1947.
